What is FlowForge?

FlowForge is an advanced tool that automates the creation of User Stories and Gherkin test cases directly from BPMN models. By integrating DMN, it ensures enhanced accuracy by capturing decision logic alongside process flows, handling complex pathways, gateways, and exceptions effectively.

How does it work?

FlowForge transforms BPMN models into User Stories and Gherkin test cases by identifying key elements such as events, gateways, tasks, and sequence flows. These are mapped to Gherkin syntax using pattern-matching techniques, with DMN integration capturing decision logic for complete, executable test cases.

How to Use It

1 Open the Application

Open the FlowForge application. The interface will look like the image shown on the side.

2 Upload the BPMN File

Upload the BPMN file to the container available on the web page — drag and drop or click to browse.

3 Review the Results

After successfully uploading the BPMN file, the interface will show extracted elements, test paths, and generated Gherkin test cases.
