What is FlowForge?

FlowForge is an advanced tool that automates the creation of User Stories and Gherkin test cases directly from BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) models. By integrating Decision Model and Notation (DMN), it ensures enhanced accuracy by capturing decision logic alongside process flows. This capability enables handling complex pathways, gateways, and exceptions effectively. FlowForge translates BPMN elements into natural-language test cases aligned with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices, ensuring clarity, consistency, and comprehensive workflow coverage.

How does FlowForge work?

FlowForge transforms BPMN models into User Stories and Gherkin test cases through a systematic process. It identifies key BPMN elements such as events, gateways, tasks, and sequence flows. These are mapped to Gherkin syntax using advanced pattern-matching techniques. DMN integration captures decision logic, enhancing the accuracy of test cases. The tool then generates complete test paths, converting them into executable user stories and Gherkin test cases, streamlining the transition from process modeling to specification.

How to Use It

Step 1

Open the FlowForge application, and the interface will look like the image shown on the side.

Step 2

Upload the BPMN file to the container available on the web page.

Step 3

After successfully uploading the BPMN file, the interface will appear as shown in the image beside.
